A chapter of Maine Audubon
Join us for a late spring bird walk in the powerline corridor that crosses Fields Pond Road in Orrington. Shrubby and forest edge habitats provide a unique opportunity to view Prairie Warbler, Chestnut-sided Warbler, American Redstart, and other spring migrants. Views of Northern Harrier, American Kestrel, and other raptors are also possible. Note: This walk is limited to 15 participants. We will meet up at the Fields Pond Audubon Center on Fields Pond Road in Holden at 7:00 a.m., and car-pool to the nearby powerline. To sign up, please email Gordon and Jane at grusss@roadrunner.com.
