Stream Explorers Workshop

Practice your sampling methods and aquatic macroinvertebrate identification skills at this in-person, hands-on training workshop. Stream Explorers is a Maine Audubon community science project that tracks aquatic insect populations as indicators of a thriving or declining ecosystem. The data you collect as a volunteer will help experts better assess and monitor wildlife habitat and water quality throughout our region. Educational resources for classroom teachers will be available.
