Seed Sowing Workshop

Maine Audubon staff will lead a hands-on workshop on growing native plants from seed, using the natural process of winter sowing. Participants will learn the benefits of starting native wildflowers, grasses, and shrubs from seed, discover simple techniques for successful propagation, and create their own take-home seed containers to nurture through the winter. This workshop is a great way to support pollinators, birds, and biodiversity right in your own backyard.
