Nocturnal Insect Night

Join naturalist Wesley Hutchins for an engaging evening of insect identification and photography. We will set up an insect “light trap” sheet to identify the many different kinds of insects, especially moths, that land on the sheet. They can then be collected off the sheet, by hand or with a pair of tweezers, for identification and closer inspection. This program is appropriate for all ages.
