CITY FOREST WILDFLOWER & FERN WALK

Join three Maine Master Naturalists for a leisurely walk to view and identify some of the common wildflowers and ferns that thrive in our region. We’ll start with an overview of basic botany, followed by a quick tutorial on how to spot the key differences between various types of ferns. From there we will venture down the trail, and see what flowering plants and ferns we can find in the forest.  Meet at the Bangor City Forest main parking lot, at the end of Tripp Road.
