BASKET-MAKING WORKSHOP

Jessica Steele will show participants how to craft a gourd basket, perfect for gifting or home use.  You will clean, sand, and drill holes in a pre-cut gourd, then sew white pine needles around the rim.  Choose from a number of provided stains to preserve and personalize your basket.  Each gourd is around 4-5” in diameter.  Jessica will also teach the basics of crafting pine needle baskets.  Learn a nature-based ancient art you can practice for a lifetime! Cost: $60 member/$75 nonmember
