DAnbury Mint PlatesDanbury Mint Collector’s Plates – Vintage decorative plates in fine porcelain, offered as a set of three. “The Warning” (top plate in photo) depicts a bugling elk buck in a Western mountain meadow. Artist Bruce Miller has won numerous federal and state conservation stamp contests, plus many other wildlife art awards.  Part of the limited-edition “High Country Pride” series, with hand-painted plate number on the back. Includes certificate of authenticity (name of original owner blacked out) and an artist biography.  “Trailblazers” by wildlife artist Michael Sieve (both bottom plates in photo)  depicts a post-rutting “bachelor group” of three mature white-tailed deer bucks in early winter, just before they drop their magnificent antlers.  Part of the limited-edition “Wonders of the Wilderness” series, each with hand-painted plate number on the back.  All three plates are gold-rimmed, approx. 8” diameter, in like-new condition. These are collectible fine art plates, intended for table, shelf, or wall display only.  Not suitable for food use.
